Florance Flora Farm was established in 1994 by Mr. Satyendra Kumar Gutgutia. Prior to moving to Kolkata, Mr. Gutgutia had a decade of experience in flower cultivation at his ancestral farmland in his native village of Vidyasagar in Bihar.
Mr. Gutgutia started with a single flower shop in Kolkata in 1980 and proceeded to open more shops. He also took up the business of flower decoration.
In order to grow his company’s presence, he decided to move to the hub of the flower industry in 1992. As a result, we moved to Bangalore and set up operations. Within a couple of years, Florance Flora decided to expand into the business of production and supply of young plants for flower production.
Florance Flora set up its Planting Material division in the late 90s with an aim to be a reliable supplier of quality planting material to growers. Over two decades, it carefully built partnerships with leading companies in the field of floriculture in order to introduce the latest crops, varieties and technology to the Indian market.
